Ave Verum Marathon

The Ave Verum International Choir Competition in Baden announced a global composition competition in 2019, in which 59 composers took part and submitted 70 new creations or arrangements. With an all-day “Ave Verum Marathon” in the form of short concerts, video broadcasts and a large final concert, this diversity can now be experienced in concentrated form at the site where W.A. Mozart composed his motet Ave Verum Corpus in 1791. The Gumpoldskirchner Spatzen will be there at the final concert with Ave Verum by composer Gerda Blok-Wilson! Free entry – donations requested!
